What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician OR Anesthesia - LGH Anesthesia/Full Time Days position at Centra Medical Group?
The OR Anesthesia Technician performs various patient care activities and related services. May handle medication that is delivered by the Pharmacy either directly or via the pneumatic tube system and to transport the medication to an appropriate storage area or to another employee who is qualified to administer medication.
Required Education: High School Diploma / GED
Preferred Experience: Pharmacy Technician
Preferred Certifications and Licensures: BCLS
Provides and documents patient care under the direction of the registered nurse and as outlined in the plan of care
Participates in quality initiatives resulting from evidence-based literature and/or unit-based metrics
Creates and maintains an environment that protects patients from harm
