Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and deliver products to customers (non-DOT deliveries only), provide general yard and warehouse assistance and other location maintenance/upkeep as needed.
Essential Functions: (The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following)
- Loads and unloads agronomy deliveries utilizing appropriate equipment
- Completes all required record keeping processes
- Provides accurate and efficient agronomy deliveries
- Performs pre and post trip inspections and reports required maintenance to management
- Assists with proper inventory storage
- Assist with all other operational duties as needed.
- Ensure facility, yard, and equipment is well maintained, operational and clean, report needs to supervisor
- Provide superior customer service and resolve complaints quickly and appropriately, while maintaining open communication with all involved parties
- Provide backup for other operations staff as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to doing what’s right, a solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for agriculture, and genuine respect for others
- Practice safe behavior while following all safety policies
- Observe and enforce all company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
· High school graduate or GED equivalent
· Team player with good communication and listening skills
· Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with staff and customers
· Commitment to excellence and high standards of providing outstanding customer service and problem solving
· Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment
· Resourceful, self-starter with works well with minimal supervision
· Good organizational skills including detail oriented, and ability to prioritize
· Results-oriented, accurate, and thorough with a commitment to accountability
· Skilled in equipment operation (forklift, skid steer, etc.)
· Good mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
· Basic computer skills.
· Must comply with current driver qualification requirements and our Drug and Alcohol Policy
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in an agricultural environment
