The Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) according to a treatment plan developed by a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). In simple terms, you are teaching and reinforcing new skills so kids can succeed in life! About the Role
As the Behavior Technician, you are a part of a team providing groundbreaking services. You provide direct care to children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in one-on-one and in group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and training arrangements as identified in their treatment plan.
Your role is to:
· Effectively implement behavior treatment protocols after being trained in the child’s individualized plan of service.
· Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior.
· Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the child’s individual plan of service and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of the BCBA.
· Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed.
· Collaborate with the treatment team including clients, parents and caregivers, outside professionals and co-workers.
· Perform duties in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures and instruction.

Qualifications and Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· At least 18 years of age.
· Valid Michigan’s driver’s license and good driving record.
· Ability to sustain State Licensure in field of practice and/or Certifications to perform duties of the job.
· Ability to be certified in First Aid and CPR within 90 days of hire (agency available training)
· Ability to participate in agency provided training in the principles of behavior, behavioral measurement and data collection, functions of behaviors, basic concepts of ABA, generalization and its importance in sustainability of learned/acquired skills and medical conditions/illness that impact behaviors.
Preferred
· Experience working with children in a classroom or one-on-one setting.

Work Environment:
CWN prioritizes a work/life balance. Your supervisor will work with you to utilize flex time and paid time off. You will primarily work in the office with the following schedule:[CB2] [BD3]
· Monday through Friday
· Between 8:00am and 5:00pm
You may be required to work hours outside of the regular schedule if assigned by your supervisor to meet clients’ needs.
Light travel (<5% of time) may be required for job-related assignments, training or presentations.

Pay: $18.78 - $24.40 per hour
