Nephrology- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – St. Cloud and Surrounding Areas

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our highly collaborative Nephrology team!
The Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider will practice in a full range state-of-the-art, well-established kidney program providing a combination of patient care to our outreach/dialysis sites (all locations within 90 minutes of St. Cloud, MN), rounding at St. Cloud hospital as well as clinic duties at our Centracare Health River Campus.
Flexible location scheduling options due to outreach and candidate locations.
Schedule:
- Full-time, flexible FTE - 0.8-1.0
- Monday- Friday, day shifts
- Rotating Weekends (Every 5- 6th)
- Minimal Holidays
- No nights or call
Areas of Focus:
Caring for patients across the spectrum of their kidney disease to include:
- End Stage Renal Disease/Dialysis
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Acute Kidney Injuries
- Nephrology Related Diagnoses
The Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider will treat and educate patients:
- Anemia management
- Hypertension management
- Chronic Kidney Disease Education
Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider Requirements:
Education-Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in Minnesota, successfully completed a formal program approved by a national accrediting agency and be certified by a national certification organization recognized by the Minnesota State.
Experience-The Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider will show skills in organizational management, leadership, communication and clinical expertise. Previous Nephrology and/or dialysis experience is preferred. Experience as a physician assistant, or nurse practitioner is preferred.
Special Requirements- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must have advanced practice prescriptive privileges. Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
