What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Services Lead position at CentraCare?
Catering Services Lead position involves coordinating patient meal services, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and pick-up, as well as handling special requests. The position ensures employees are well-trained and units are adequately staffed to provide service to patients of all ages. It requires adherence to Customer Service Standards and the implementation of patient safety and other safety practices. The role also supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles in interactions with patients, their families, and co-workers.
Schedule
- Full-time position | 72 hours every two weeks
- 3 12-hour shifts of 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $16.73 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $14.75 - $22.13 per hour

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in health care environment preferred.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English, follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple computational skills.
- Strong verbal communication, reading and writing abilities required.
- Must be able to interact with patients and staff congenially.
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
- Able to use computers proficiently.
