What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner position at CentraCare?
Find your purpose joining CentraCare and the St. Cloud Hospital as a Hospital Cleaner (EVS), working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. We are seeking qualified Part Time Evening workers with good communication skills for various part-time evening shifts. This is a fast-paced position that requires interacting and communicating fluently with patients and staff while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the hospital.
Schedule:
- PART TIME (Two Evenings per week on average)
- Afternoon/Evenings | 8-hour shifts
- Part-time | 16-31 Hours every two weeks
- You will work Every Other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and one flexible day (1) during the week that you may choose.
Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):
- Wage rates start at $16.98 per hour offering more with experience.
- Full pay range for this position is $15.36 to $23.04 hourly
- After 3pm shift differential is $1.50 per hour.
- Weekend shift differential is $1.05 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to handling of cleaning chemicals and operating mechanical lifts
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Duties:
- Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged.
- Tasks include: vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.
- Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.
- PPE is required and provided to protect your health and safety!
