Find your purpose and make a difference with us! CentraCare is seeking a dynamic and strategic Benefits and Wellness Leader to lead the organization’s comprehensive benefits program. This role will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to design and implement benefits strategies and programs that are competitive, innovative, and aligned with the organization’s goals. In addition to managing the overall benefits program, the Director of Benefits will oversee a team of professionals responsible for the day-to-day administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of all benefit and wellness offerings, retirement, recognition and leave of absence management.
Schedule Details:
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Primarily Monday – Friday, hours typically between 8am – 5pm
- Occasional early and late hours dependent on department/organizational need
- Hybrid position, working primarily remote
- On-site presence for department/organizational events
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay $153,322.73 per year, exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Salary range: $153,322.73 – 229,962.72
- Salary and salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

- Retirement with matching, up to 7.5%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in benefits, to include strong analytical, financial, and compliance acumen required
- Managerial experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Broad knowledge of benefit plan design required
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation preferred
