Your Impactful Role: 

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with CentraCare Paynesville, you will be at the forefront of delivering advanced pre-hospital emergency patient care and transportation. From neonates to geriatric patients, your expertise will be crucial in providing both emergent and non-emergent services to individuals across the surrounding communities. Your dedication will be instrumental in saving lives and providing comfort during times of crisis.

Pay and Benefits: 

• Starting pay is $19.42 or more per hour, depending on location and experience.
• $2,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

Schedule:

• Part-Time 40 hours every two weeks
• Various 12 hour shifts from 9pm-9am
• Variable days to include Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays 
• Working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited EMT-Basic / Advanced EMT (AEMT) course required, verified through certification with the EMSRB or NREMT including prerequisite NIMMS 100, 200, 700 certifications.
• Valid current NREMT with Minnesota EMSRB Certification or Valid Minnesota EMSRB Certification with NREMT to be obtained by 2032.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing is required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time. Bonus amounts may differ based on full time and part time status.
