What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Pharmacy Technician Specialist | Coborn Cancer Center position at CentraCare?
Supports pharmacists in the dispensing of medications, including sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medications, accurate charging of medications, delivery of medications to patient treatment areas and clerical duties. Responsible for procurement of medications and medical supplies and invoice authorization. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite
- Days | 8-hour shifts | Monday-Thursday 6:45am-5pm and Fridays 6:45am-4:30pm
- No weekends or holidays!
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $20.20 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $20.20- $30.30 per hour

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Current certification
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of MN
- Advanced training in data input, business or pharmaceutical applications.
- Education\Bachelors Degree Preferred.
- 3 years to five years experience as a buyer in a pharmacy setting and/or experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
- 1 years to three years general office experience with medical background preferred.
