What are the responsibilities and job description for the PACS Analyst position at CentraCare?
CentraCare is looking for a qualified and experienced IT professional to fill the PACS Analyst position. This position provides training for clinical and hospital staff and performs routine technical and system administrative support to the PACS Applications to ensure smooth transition to CentraCare's filmless imaging environment. This role also assists in addressing day-to-day operational needs of PACS applications. Serves as an integral member of the Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) Application Team.
Schedule:
- Full time | 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Day shift | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- After hours on-call required
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $75,678.25 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Salary range: $75,678.25 - $113,506.69 per year
- Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in related field or equivalent experience and training in lieu of education
- 3 years working in a diagnostic imaging environment or three years of IT related experience required
- Clinical and/or technical knowledge and skills in imaging preferred
- Strong leadership skills including communication, organization, planning and problem-solving skills
- Appropriate competence with computers required
