Patient Access is a broad department that covers many areas of a facility. In Monticello, my Patient Access department covers 8 different areas from the Emergency Department to Specialty departments. This is what makes my job interesting, I have the privilege of supporting our teams within a variety of areas in Monticello. I enjoy working with all these team members as everyone has a different need and this keeps things interesting for me. One thing I was not very aware of when taking this position, was how closely I would work with other department supervisors, managers, and directors. I have been enlightened by seeing the perspective of other departments and how we all relate to each other to make the facility flow successfully. Patricia, Monticello Patient Access Supervisor
