What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polysomnography Tech Lead position at CentraCare?
Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Polysomnography Technologist Lead! As a Polysomnography Tech Lead, you will help our patients find the answers they are looking for to sleep better! You will work alongside new and experienced sleep techs. Our center administers various ways of testing including sleep studies, home visits, and more. The technologist, overseen by a physician, administers tests relating to sleep disorders in outpatients ranging in age from 5 years of age to adult. You will be responsible for administering and scoring polysomnographs, using Inspire, MSLTs, and CPAP titrations. For your safety, our policy is that you'll never work alone.
Schedule
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite at CentraCare Sleep Center
- Days | Monday-Friday | Various shifts 6:30 am – 4:00 pm
- No weekends or holidays!
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $31.10 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $31.10 - $46.66 per hour

Qualifications
- One of the following educational qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Polysomnographic Program of no less than one-year duration
- Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Neurodiagnostic Technologist
- Must be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card
- 2 years minimum prior experience in administering and scoring polysomnographs preferred
