What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN | Endoscopy Nurse Procedure Facilitator position at CentraCare?
The Endoscopy Nurse Procedure Facilitator plays a vital role in preparing patients for various endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This position involves gathering detailed patient information and providing clear pre-procedure instructions. The facilitator educates patients about the procedures they will undergo, such as EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and other endoscopic procedures, while addressing any questions or concerns to reduce anxiety. They collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure patients are physically optimized by arranging pre-procedure labs, tests, and any necessary screenings. The role requires strong communication, patient care skills, and a detailed understanding of the wide range of endoscopic procedures performed.
Schedule
- Part-time | 32-48 hours every two weeks | Onsite
- Day shift | 8 shifts Monday- Friday between the hours of 7am-6pm
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Pay range: $40.33 - $60.50 per hour
- $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates

Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
- BSN required within three years
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required
- Completion of a Basic EKG class may be required
Hiring bonus requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last nine months. Pay promotions may be discontinued at any time.
Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the working location and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
