What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN | Med-Surg, OB & ER position at CentraCare?
Join the team in Redwood Falls! Start in Med-Surg and then cross train to Obstetrics (Mom/Baby) and the Emergency Room. Also have the opportunity to train to be a nursing supervisor or charge nurse. Summary
- Coordinate and/or supervise care by other professionals on your team.
- Perform duties related to assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating as you deliver patient care.
- Assess and plan for the educational needs of the patient/client and families.
Schedule
- Part-time | 48 hours per two weeks
- Rotating 12-hour shifts Day/Night
- Includes every third weekend and holiday rotation
Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $37.97 per hour
- Bachelor's in nursing starting at $38.34 per hour
- Pay range: $37.97 - $56.82 per hour
- Hiring Bonus $3,500 and Relocation Bonus $5,000 available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher
- Current Minnesota RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Exception: inability to complete certification process related to a health condition: must complete education portion of Basic Life Support
- ACLS education completed within 6 months of hire.
- NRP education completed within 1 year of hire.
- Completes trauma education as set for Level 4 trauma criteria within 1 year of hire.

The Redwood Hospital is a 12-bed facility serving Redwood Falls, Morton, and other communities in and near Redwood and Renville Counties in Minnesota. It’s one of the newest hospital facilities in Minnesota!
