What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer position at CentraCare?
If you're looking for a dynamic career in healthcare with the opportunity to grow and specialize in cardiac sonography, we are seeking a Sonographer! No prior cardiac sonography experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to specialize as an Echo Tech. You'll perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operate and maintain the necessary equipment, and accurately record patient results. You'll work closely with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, ensuring clear communication and a supportive environment. Adherence to established protocols and safety standards is essential, along with strong technical skills and attention to detail. Your role is crucial in the diagnostic process, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
SCHEDULE
- Full time | 64 hours every two weeks
- Days | 8:00am-4:30pm | Monday-Friday
- No call or weekends!
PAY & BENEFITS
- Starting pay begins at $43.16 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $43.16-59.03 per hour

QUALFICATIONS
- Completion of an accredited Sonography Program
- ARDMS registered or registry eligible
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, student loan repayment or relocation bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time. Relocation bonus must meet distance requirements. Full-time or Part-time status may impact bonus amount.
