This is a key position responsible for coordinating the day-to-day surgical care for our team-specific patients and overseeing a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring a team, including RNs, LPNs and Surgical Technicians, to ensure the highest standards of care in the Surgery Department, Endoscopy, Outreach Clinic and Outpatient Infusion Departments. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing patient assignments based on staff skill levels, experience, and patient acuity as well as participate in the development and implementation of department goals, objectives, policies, and standards of practice. In this role, you will lead efforts in continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care, manage resources efficiently while ensuring appropriate staffing levels and equipment availability to meet patient care needs.
Schedule
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Melrose Hospital
- Daytime hours with occasional evening availability and on-call required
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $90,667.20 per year and increases with experience
- Salary range: $90,667.20 - $136,094.40 per year
- Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- 2 years’ experience in perioperative services along with preferred clinical management experience
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
- Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, leading and engaging staff towards positive change preferred
