Position Overview
The Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) is responsible for supporting the effective integration of technology into classroom instruction and enhancing teaching and learning for students in grades PreK-12. This position collaborates with teachers, administrators, and staff to provide professional development, model best practices in technology integration, and ensure equitable access to instructional technology resources.
Key Responsibilities
• Instructional Support
• Collaborate with teachers to design and implement lessons that integrate technology to enhance student learning
• Model effective technology integration strategies in the classroom
• Assist teachers in selecting and using digital tools and resources aligned with curriculum standards.
• Professional Development
• Plan and deliver training sessions for teachers and staff on instructional technology tools and strategies
• Provide one-on-one or small group coaching to support skill development and technology adoption
• Technology Integration
• Promote the use of innovative technologies to enhance student engagement and achievement
• Stay updated on emerging instructional technology trends and recommend their adoption as appropriate
• Technical Support Coordination
• Collaborate with IT staff to troubleshoot and address technical issues that impact instruction
• Ensure the effective use of digital tools and resources across schools
• Leadership and Collaboration
• Participate in curriculum development committees to ensure technology is embedded into instructional plans
• Serve as a resource for staff in the effective use of technology to meet educational goals.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
• Support school and district initiatives as directed by the administration.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Licensure: Valid teaching license with an endorsement in Instructional Technology or related area (or ability to obtain).
• Experience: Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Experience integrating technology into PreK-12 classrooms.
Skills and Abilities
• Strong knowledge of current instructional technology tools and platforms.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging professional development sessions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Work Conditions
• Position requires frequent travel between schools in the district.

Salary : $51,198 - $76,995
