What are the responsibilities and job description for the PowerSchool Administrator position at Central Administrative Offices?
Description
Manage and maintain PowerSchool to include:
- Setting up new year
- Setting up online course registration
- Closing out school year
- Provide support to schools in best practices and trouble-shooting
- Monitor data for accuracy and errors-correct as necessary
- Maintain PowerSchool Enrollment and PowerTeacher Gradebook Pro
- Maintain SIF/SLF service
Responsible for:
- Working with various departments in accurate submission of state and federal reports
- Working with Coordinator of Data Management
- Working with Coordinator of Assessment
- Data uploads for online software subscriptions
- Maintaining connection between PowerSchool and third-party vendors: Performance Matters, Major Clarity, Canvas, Clever, Data Business (cafeteria management), Transfinder, Level Data, PSCB Development Reports Maintaining relationship with PSISJS
- Staying up to date on best practices including online and face-to-face professional development
- VA PowerSchool Users Group
- PowerSchool Community
Other qualities:
· Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to plan and lead professional development as appropriate
· Experience in PowerSchool Administration preferred
· Excel certification preferred
· Willingness to learn SQL and how to complete queries
