What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Central Arizona Supply?

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading, putting away, and organizing product in our N. Phoenix (Deer Valley), AZ branch. The Warehouse Associate processes preorder fulfilment, and preorder shipping. They’re also responsible for the security, safety, and cleanliness of all warehouse and outside storage of products at the branch.
Responsibilities
- Receives, checks for damage, and processes incoming shipments from warehouse transfers & vendor purchase orders according to company procedures.
- Notifies Vendor & Purchasing of any shipping discrepancies.
- Restocks fulfillment & stock rotation; maintains overstock issues
- Ensures sold products are tagged & located in appropriate areas.
- Ensures all vendor paperwork is turned into Accounting (Packing Slip, BOL, Pre-Receiver, Back Order/Fill, Receipts Report).
- Keeps warehouse areas clean & neat and follows ALL safety procedures.
- Uses warehouse equipment as necessary; other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Basic inventory control, put away, and 1-year stand up reach experience.
- Must be physically fit & able to lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment up to 90lbs.
- Effective communication skills, superior organizational skills & accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to be on feet for long periods of time (standing, walking)
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Plumbing & Appliance product experience preferred.
