POSITION SUMMARY
A Credit Analyst I will focus on learning processes related to the administration and analysis of credit. Assist experienced Credit Analysts with the collection of data from new and existing loan customers in order to perform analysis of financial information and creditworthiness and to support in the administration of commercial loan accounts.

Assist experienced Credit Analysts with the collection of data from new and existing loan customers in order to perform analysis of financial information and creditworthiness and to support in the administration of commercial loan accounts.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business and product cycles, cash flow capacity, collateral, and aging reports to identify trends, measure performance, and assess financial strength.
- Request and communicate with customers, accountants, and attorneys regarding questions on financials, business structure and other necessary documentation. Confidentiality and integrity are of the utmost importance
- Coordinate the ordering of loan documents and assist in the documentation of loans to evidence debt, including perfection of security interests
- Prepare insightful and timely loan presentations and memorandums to appropriate lending staff and/or credit committees.
- Review and report discrepancies in the accuracy of the risk rating on individual credit reports.
- Review legal documents prior to other analyst review.
- Complete Real Estate evaluations and appraisal reviews.
- Keep informed of market and economic conditions that may impact customers and the related credit risk and other professional banking issues
- Prepare and review various reports
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Ability to learn and use the Bank’s PC hardware and software; in addition to being proficient in Microsoft Office products, including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Ability to perform basic math; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees. Interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals.
- Demonstrate strong oral/communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors
- Responsible for knowing and following Bank Security Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) regulations, policies and procedures
- Must have flexibility to deal with changing work hours and locations as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required or equivalent work experience
- 1 years’ experience within banking industry preferred
