What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Operations Intern - Summer 2025 position at Central Bank?
As an Operations Intern, you will get exposure to the different functional areas of Property Management and Deposit Operations and will be responsible for leading various projects that support Central Bank’s operations areas. In addition, you will collaborate with other summer interns on a group project, while having the opportunity to immerse yourself in Central Bank through job shadowing, lunch & learns, executive panels, professional development, and volunteer & social activities.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. The individual experiences little discomfort from noise, dust or other factors. Prolonged standing (5- 8 hours per day) may be required. May be exposed to potentially hazardous condition, i.e. robbery. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the exposure. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as needed throughout the Central Bank of the Midwest footprint. Any required travel is typically completed within normal business hours.
Summer Internship Program Dates
- June 2nd, 2025 - August 1st, 2025
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Develop/create/Improve excel spreadsheets to support various operational processes.
- Assist on Capital Expenditure project management.
- Assist in various department roles.
- Provide input and assistance on key operational and facility projects.
- Update maintenance project management work request system (Limble) and add assets to system.
- Shadow various Operations functions to gain foundational knowledge of key processes and procedure in Operations areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Sophomore or Junior Enrolled in a four (4) year institution of higher learning majoring in Business, Human Resources or related field
- Self-starter with high degree of achievement orientation and desire to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Must possess good judgment skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
