Hours Required for position:
Typically, 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM (hours may vary as needed)
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs document imaging, scanning and indexing; setup and maintenance for Remote Deposit and Positive Pay; assists with Lockbox, and serves as primary backup to mailroom functions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED
- One to two years’ experience in a related field utilizing spreadsheets and databases
- Data input experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods
- Able to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Proven strength in problem solving
- Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complete customer setup and maintenance for Remote Deposit and Positive Pay.
2. Process end of month large statements and special handling statements manually.
3. Process overflow lockbox work as required to help meet customer deadlines (includes opening, prepping and keying).
4. Perform document image indexing to ensure proper retrieval by end users and ensure all SLA’s are met.
5. Serve as primary backup for:
a. Sorting and distributing incoming mail from both external sources and interoffice communications; delivering all mail to the appropriate area.
b. Picking up all interoffice and outgoing mail from various stations throughout 300 West Vine Street; placing internal mail in the proper slots for delivery, and taking outgoing mail to the mail room for posting.
c. Receiving, logging, and delivering overnight and special delivery packages (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
d. Weighing outgoing mail to determine proper postage amount and processing through the mail processing machine for metering, ensuring proper item count by department.
e. Processing statements, notices and various forms on the mail inserter machine.
f. Processing certified mail, registered mail, and outgoing UPS packages.
g. Delivering all outgoing mail to the building mail room and picking up all incoming mail from USPS mail room daily.
6. Cross train as requested by management for full department efficiency.
7. Perform other duties as assigned
