Quality Control Associate

Duties

The Quality Control Associate of Wealth Operations is a full-time position with Central Trust Company. The ideal candidate for this position performs a wide range of duties and interacts with Central Trust Company staff to support the operational processes in an effort to improve the quality and integrity of the Wealth Operations teams, including asset movement, account maintenance and funds movement. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Duties include:

• Review new and closed accounts, including but not limited to documentation and account coding
• Review account and security maintenance for accuracy, including but not limited to account coding, customer access, customer reporting, and security set up.
• Review and approve money movement transactions.
• Process and review monthly system generated reports to identify account coding exceptions.
• Process stale dated and escheated checks.
• Coordinate Wealth Operations audit, compliance and risk management matters.
• Assign and manage user access for new, existing and terminated employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required with knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting preferred.
• 2-3 years of previous operations, audit, wealth management or similar field preferred.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels to ensure that policies and procedures are understood and implemented appropriately.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently.
