What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relationship Banking Assistant position at Central Bank?
Position Purpose
Responsible for day-to-day support activities of Relationship Management team and Classic Director. Responsible for assisting with the preparation activities for all Classic Club trips and functions. Has responsibility for directing and prioritizing incoming correspondence from the bank’s customers including our Classic Club customers via email, voicemail, regular mail, facsimile, telephone, as well as extensive personal contact. Performs special projects, assists with research, schedules, plans and coordinates special department “events” and assists staff members with execution and successful completion of their strategic objectives. Responsible for compliance with banking regulations which are applicable to job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
Specific Duties
Sends all Classic Club members birthday cards, manages Classic trip general ledger accounts, maintains Classic Club membership, and email newsletter list, and all correspondence relating to new and removed memberships. Completes monthly board report for both Relationship Banking and Classic, does tracking of various information and production as requested, Downloads Classic Club membership addresses for quarterly newsletter and assisting with maintenance of Classic Merchant list.
Assists all Relationship Banking Staff with customer research, scheduling, ordering department supplies, places Classic, Relationship Banking, and regular customer check orders, customer address changes, audits TES reports, and any other special projects arising during the year. Answers telephone and transfers to staff members per requests, and takes accurate messages for delivery to staff, which can be done via Teams, Email, or Telephone Message Form. Knowledge and experience to place and buy back Foreign Currency orders and prepare and receive Foreign Currency for pickup by Customers or FEDEX. Provides top quality legendary service to new and existing customers by following the legendary service standards.

Authority to make many decisions within the scope of responsibility and level of knowledge and experience. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Requires a minimum high school diploma, prefer some college or degree, with banking knowledge preferred. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong customer service and problem-solving skills are needed. Excellent typing skills. Working knowledge and skill at producing reports and spreadsheets, use of Excel and Microsoft products. Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
