Biology Faculty

Central Baptist College’s Department of Natural Science and Mathematics is currently seeking a full-time faculty member in Biology to begin fall 2025.

Position Responsibilities:

• Teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including Biology for General Education,

Molecular Biology, and Physical Science.

• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.

• Engage in departmental and institutional service, including participation in faculty

committees.

• Utilize Canvas and Zoom effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge base in Biology with a commitment to high academic standards and

student success.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to support and uphold the mission of Central Baptist College.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in biology or related field (Doctoral degree preferred).

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior college-level teaching experience.

• Ability to pass a background check.
