Job Overview
We at Central BBQ Lakehouse are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our collaborative and open-minded team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding food experiences, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Understanding how Korean BBQ systems work as well as being open-minded to other new innovative additions and ideas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an open mind for Korean food and culture, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide guests promptly while providing menus and information about Korean BBQ related rules and orders.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the gopass POS system.
- Upsell unique experiences, meals, and drinks to enhance guest experience and increase customer interaction and loyalty.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their cooking, interacting, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
- Process cash and card handling transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are handled securely and correctly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Korean BBQ or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with customer service or similar POS systems is a plus.
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to promote menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for employee and customers.
- Ability to handle payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including mainly evenings and weekends .
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding guest relations.

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
