Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to work collaboratively with the team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage inventory control by tracking supplies, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
- Operate the Toast POS system efficiently for processing orders and payments.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or bartending.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
- Experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager is beneficial.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, particularly in quick service or fast food settings.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices is desirable.
- Team management experience is an asset, as well as skills in interviewing potential staff members.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
