Contractor/Retail Salesperson

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with loading materials
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with restocking as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction and hardware is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash register operations
• Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales track

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
