FCC Drive Testing (Multiple Openings)
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FCC Drive Testing professional to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. As an FCC Drive Testing specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance, and compliance of our wireless networks. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive drive tests, analyzing data, and generating detailed reports to optimize network performance and meet regulatory requirements.
Testing Market : California (Rural & Urban)
Milage and Vehicle Rental can be reimbursed
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct drive tests in designated areas to evaluate network coverage, signal strength, and data throughput.
- Utilize specialized drive test equipment and software to collect and analyze network performance data.
- Identify and troubleshoot network issues, such as coverage holes, interference, and dropped calls.
- Generate detailed drive test reports with clear findings and recommendations for network optimization.
- Collaborate with network engineers to implement solutions and improve network performance.
- Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of drive test activities and findings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in wireless technology and drive testing methodologies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Operate and maintain drive test equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and calibration.
- Analyze collected data to identify areas for network improvement and optimization.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing drive test results and recommendations.
- Work closely with other departments, such as network planning and optimization, to ensure seamless network performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in conducting drive tests and analyzing network performance data.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication technologies, such as GSM, CDMA, UMTS, and LTE.
- Proficiency in using drive test equipment and software, such as TEMS, XCAL, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and industry standards related to wireless network performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various drive test locations.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with network optimization techniques.
