Position Description/Evaluation
Position Title: Service Dispatcher
Position Supervises: None
Reports To: Service Manager and Controller
Description: Responsible for shipping supplies and equipment to customers. Responsible for all vendor returns. Receive all supplies, external and internal, parts, and equipment and enters information into our software, E-Automate (EA). Enters orders for technology customers and invoices customers. Maintains inventory for supplies, parts, and equipment. Transfers inventory as needed and performs monthly/quarterly/annual inventory counts. Organizes inventory warehouses and bins and creates new bins as needed. Schedules all equipment installs for mail and copier customers and assists with technology installs.
Create Sales Orders and Purchase Orders in EA for parts, supplies, copier equipment and IT equipment.
Package and ship supplies and send invoices.
Schedule all equipment installs and complete all necessary paperwork
Order parts and supplies
Order copier and IT equipment
Process, track, and ship RMA’s for parts, supplies and equipment.
Package and ship parts and equipment for RMA’s
Receive parts and supplies and stock inventory
Receive equipment and prepare for installation
Provide accurate inventory counts quarterly, annually, and as needed.
Transfer inventory to service techs as needed
Maintain inventory levels, keep warehouses and bins organized, create bins and labels as needed.
Enter service tickets for installation.
Other duties as assigned.
Answers the phones in a friendly, cordial manner and, when necessary, refers caller to the appropriate individual or prepares legible and accurate call slips.

Requirements
- At least one (1) year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Ability to handle the confidential aspects of the work.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office products, operate computers and office equipment, use computer software for shipping and receiving.
- Communication, interpersonal, clerical, and organizational skills necessary to complete job responsibilities.
- Ability to handle telephone requests calmly, adequately and in a manner that will promote and preserve good public relations.
- Reliable transportation.
