Are you looking to advance in your career as a Water and Sewage Plant Operator. Central California Women's Facility (CCWF) is seeking an individual that has experience with Water Treatment, Water Distribution System & the Wastewater Treatment Plants, and has possession of a Grade T-2 Water Treatment, Grade D-2 Water Distribution, and Grade II Wastewater certificates.

Before applying for the position(s), you should first take and pass the examination. You can take and pass the CDCR examination up to 6 MONTHS prior to obtaining your State Water Board Certificate. Please see "Exam/Assessment" section below for more details.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
Hours
Please note this classification works 7 days a week and 4-10's. Therefore, your scheduled days off will be based on seniority. Since the schedule is based on seniority, you will most likely be required to work a Saturday or Sunday.

This position is located at the Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) in Chowchilla, Madera County, which is conveniently located off 99. Includes free parking and is an easy commute from Madera and Merced. Madera County is a fun filled region of outdoor adventures, wine tasting, fishing and historic museums.

Position Details
Chief Plant Operator: $6% per month
Certified Backflow Tester: $100 per month
Recruitment and Retention: 7 yrs = 5%, 10 yrs = 7%, 13 or more = 9%
Wastewater and/or Water Treatment Certificate: Grade II = 2%, Grade III or higher = 4%

Special Requirements
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification. Official transcripts may be required upon appointment. Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
