Job description
Central Care Cancer Center has an immediate opportunity for a full-time board certified or board eligible Medical Physicist.
Central Care physicists are responsible for ensuring and overseeing the highest standards of care through physics services. Modalities include, but are not limited to external beam, SRS/SBRT, and HDR.
Our departments treat with all Varian equipment and technology, including the TrueBeam, Trilogy, GammaMed iX HDR unit, Eclipse with Brachy Vision, and ARIA V15 EMR, plus HDR.
The right candidate needs to have experience in HDR.
Travel required between the clinic locations to assist with weekly treatment planning, monthly QA, annual QA as well as PTO and CME coverage. Occasionally, additional travel may be required to participate in physicist peer review activities and/or extended coverage situations.
