The purpose of the Masonry Instructor at Central Carolina Community College is to teach Career Technical Education courses and to supervise students' practical lab projects at Sanford Correctional Center. This is accomplished through administration of course objectives, course outlines, course competencies, course descriptions, and teaching strategies in the specific curriculum to ascertain that they are appropriate and relevant, and that the associated teaching / learning practices are compliant with North Carolina Department of Public Safety regulations.
- Instruction will take place in a minimum correctional facility. Must daily abide by all rules and practices administered by Sanford Correctional Center custody staff. Must also wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment accordingly.
- Annually, must complete prescribed NC Department of Public Safety training.
- Please include unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Will be required to submit official copies of transcripts before the start date.
- This position may have occasional travel between campuses and for training. Occasional after hours may be required.
- This position requires face to face teaching
