Job Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Auxiliary Services and Security, performs duties relates to campus safety and security for Central Carolina Technical College. Assist with tornado, fire, and other drills. Monitors and reports maintenance issues to the maintenance department. Checks fire extinguishers month and documents the checks. Provides information assistance as necessary to visitors, students, faculty, and staff. Answers complaints, prepares incident reports and notifies authorities of incidents. Closes buildings and responds to any alarm activation during normal business hours or when the College is closed. Locks and unlocks exterior and interior doors as scheduled and requested. Patrols grounds and buildings on campus to maintain order and provide protection of building contents and grounds. Ensure only personnel with legitimate business are on College property.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma.
