We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of middle school mathematics, a love for teaching, and a commitment to integrating Christian values in the classroom. The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching math concepts in a way that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for learning, while also nurturing the students' spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach middle school mathematics, including subjects such as 6th - 8th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with both the math curriculum and Christian principles.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged.
- Use diverse instructional strategies to meet the varied needs of students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to support the academic and spiritual growth of students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in school events, chapel services, and other extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- State teaching certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of middle school math curriculum and teaching methods.
- Ability to integrate Biblical principles into teaching.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Experience teaching middle school students (preferred).
