Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. Salary: $22.24-$28.91/hr,
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administrative support of the Compliance Team and LCA Department. This position will also work on specialized projects, perform data entry, and act as a back up for other administrative personnel when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative services for the department as assigned.
- Perform routine data entry of highly technical information: perform research both within the company and with external individuals to access and verify needed information, ensure that information is correctly entered and communicated to team members, and perform continuous self-assessment of work to catch and correct errors.
- Communicate regularly and persuasively with a wide range of company staff to collect needed information, ensure action items are completed, and advance ongoing projects.
- Complete a variety of computer-based tasks related to documentation in the appropriate format. Examples include but are not limited to: meeting minutes and agendas; data entry; creating charts, graphs, and reports.
- Review, route and process documents related to licensing and legal matters.
- Assist other staff with scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Work on special projects, including researching topics as assigned and reporting within the team on findings.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners’ and outside providers’ patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediate reporting of any PHI breach of CCC or outside provider health records to the CCC Legal and Quality departments, as well as to the program administrator.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Skilled with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel, including the ability to create graphs, tables, and reports. JIRA experience preferred.
- Ability to organize and track data.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, courteously, and persuasively, both orally and in writing, with the general public, clients, patients, medical personnel and co-workers.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and apply training instruction.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork.
- Good organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to be a team player.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must have at least one year administrative support experience.
- Must have a demonstrated history of capability in highly detail-oriented work.
- Must have a high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
- Must adhere to agency’s non-discrimination policies.
