Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for tasks such as sanding, grinding, and painting.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, and applying primer as needed.
- Execute auto glass repairs and replacements with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs based on assessments of vehicle damage.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to auto body repair.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and auto body repair is essential.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment specific to auto body work.
- Experience with auto glass installation and repair is a plus.
- Knowledge of auto painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
