Responsibilties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of state licensure and national accreditation for the Clinic
- Provide strategic compliance support and advise agency leadership of current local, state and federal laws, standards, rules and expectations related to behavioral health compliance
- Work collaboratively with administration team on Clinic policies and procedures, ensuring all are current and aligned with local, state and federal standards
- Manage corporate compliance in coordination with agency leadership
- Maintain contracts with external providers, community boards, and managed care entities
- Work collaboratively with admininstrative team to support best practices for program initiatives and procedural changes to ensure they meet all standards
- Develop and provide compliance traininig in coordination with agency and division leadership to ensure personnel are educated on latest regulations and processes
- Monitor and direct compliance to regulatory requirements and standards of client records
- As HIPAA Privacy Officer, oversee and maintain HIPAA privacy and security policies and practices, in coordination with HIPAA Security Officer
- As Client Rights Officer, mediate client rights issues, ensuring agency adherence to client rights standards and practices
Qualifications:
Master's degree required in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. An independent licensure in Social Work or Counseling is required. 5 years of Compliance experience. Advanced communication, interpersonal, critical thinking skills and ability to facilitate individual and group meetings with all levels of the organization. Strong understanding of and ability to guide personnel in behavioral health law, regulations and national accreditation. Experience working for a non-profit company is preferred.
