Overview:
Central Connection, a Division of Central Clinic Behavioral Health, is hiring for PRN clinicians to support Central Connection’s 24/7 hotline in an office setting. Provide after-hours support, assist persons in accessing mental health or substance use services, screen and manage crisis calls for Hamilton County residents. Review clinical information to determine appropriateness for authorizing services for admission to Crisis Stabilization for adults and youth, provide afterhours support for UC Mobile Crisis, complete data entry as needed.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in assessing the symptoms and needs of persons with severe and persistent mental illness; possess knowledge of community mental health services, and a working knowledge of chemical dependency issues is helpful. Candidates will have the ability to work autonomously and will demonstrate stellar reliability. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment and crisis de-escalation skills, interact sensitively and professionally with all callers, and must be able to work with a diverse population and demonstrate cultural competency. Hospital or case management experience is helpful. Licensure preferred.
