Phlebotomy Technician | IOP
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Technician to perform specimen collections and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of phlebotomy experience, strong rapport-building skills, and a commitment to patient comfort.
Scheduled Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 a.m. – 04:30 p.m. (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and blood sample collection for patients of all demographics, including geriatric populations.
- Ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, and processing while adhering to laboratory protocols.
- Provide a compassionate and reassuring patient experience during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, demonstrating knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
- Accurately document patient and specimen information while maintaining laboratory quality standards.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
