We are seeking a clinically strong Medical Assistant to become a part of our team!
Our Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical testing procedures and assignments following doctor protocols in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable with direct patient contact and care. Proficient in translating and with great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner for efficient department function.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
- Communicate with insurance companies for authorizations for procedures and services.
- Maintain and stock exam rooms and procedure areas.
- Prep E prescribe queque.
- Take inventory for monthly ordering.
- Rotation to operate in multiple clinics Monterey and Salinas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant and graduated from an Medical Assistant course.
- Familiarity with patient care, prescriptions, following doctors orders etc.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with accuracy.
- Must be detailed in performing job duties.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and get along well with others and in a team.
- Must be reliable with minimal absenteeism.
