We are seeking a reliable Bilingual Medical Assistant to become a part of our team!
Our Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical testing procedures and assignments following doctor protocols in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable with direct patient contact and care. Proficient in translating a medical visit between doctor and patient in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner for efficient department function.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures and authorizations for certain procedures and services
- Maintain and stock exam rooms and procedure areas
- Prep E prescribe queque
- operate in multiple clinics
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in healthcare
- Familiarity with patient care, prescriptions, doctor orders etc.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and get along well with others
- Must be reliable with minimal absenteeism
*Bilingual Pay Differential
