Position Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Desktop Technician to join our growing team. As a small and dynamic MSP, we provide personalized IT support to a wide variety of customers, offering you an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support both remotely (from our office) and onsite at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist customers with the setup and maintenance of Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.
- Support and configure mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
- Work with team members to address and resolve technical challenges across various networks.
- Document issues, solutions, and processes to ensure smooth and efficient support.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11.
- Basic understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Mac OS (preferred).
- Knowledge of Office 365 Products and Services and Microsoft Office applications like Outlook.
- Basic networking skills, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Experience with mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Android) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA A certification (preferred) or actively working toward earning it.
