Description

The Alpha Community Services branch of the Central Connecticut Coast Y is seeking a Branch Finance Coordinator to oversee financial operations, grant compliance, and record maintenance. This role plays a vital part in managing program budgets, ensuring adherence to grant requirements, and supporting financial reporting. Collaborating with branch leadership and the Association Office Finance Department, the Branch Finance Coordinator is essential in driving operational efficiency and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

The Branch Finance Coordinator will :

  • Monitor program budgets and expenditures.
  • Process financial transactions and prepare reports aligned with grant and organizational requirements.
  • Support the Annual Campaign by tracking pledges and providing documentation.
  • Act as a resource for branch staff on financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Nonprofit Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in finance or grant management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
