The Lakewood-Trumbull Y is seeking a dedicated Child Watch Attendant to supervise children in our Child Watch Program. This role supports the Y's mission of fostering youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. As a Child Watch Attendant, you will create a welcoming, safe, and positive environment for children, while adhering to YMCA values and safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities include :
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children at all times.
- Maintaining a clean and organized program area.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Enforcing YMCA policies and procedures, including safety and child abuse prevention.
- Attending required training sessions and meetings.
Availability Requirement :
This position requires availability for shifts from 4 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 PM .
