In this role, you will provide direct supervision to children ages 3-5 in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Your responsibilities will include planning and leading activities that promote social, physical, emotional, and cognitive growth, ensuring the well-being of each child, and collaborating with staff and parents to create positive learning experiences.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, preferably in a licensed OEC / School Readiness program
- Documentation of a physical exam and TB Tine Test within the last two years
- Completion of a background check and fingerprinting within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication, organizational, and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- CPR / First Aid certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Must complete required YMCA and state-mandated trainings
