Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of staff members to deliver high-quality programs and services.
- Develop and implement engaging youth programs and staff training initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with campers, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive camp environment.
- Manage risk and ensure the safety of campers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, recreation, child development, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience working with children in an educational, camp, or child care setting.
- Proven leadership skills with a professional, friendly, and adaptable approach to working with children, staff, and parents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and support campers and staff.
- Ability to remain calm, objective, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations.
- Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
