Position Profile
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the School's laboratories and support Electronics, Mechatronics, and Robotics facilities including an inventory of equipment and supplies. The incumbent will ensure a proper maintenance schedule for equipment and prepare laboratories for instructional use, and manage hazardous wastes generated by department research and teaching activities.

Applicant profiles and supplementary materials will be evaluated for appointment based on the following:
Education:
All Applicants must possess bachelor’s degree in technical field.
Experience and Training:
- Three years of experience in a technical laboratory, technical education, or research work in the assigned discipline or field.
- Electronics, electrical, electromechanical, mechatronics, computer hardware, and robotics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and make responsible fiscal and safety decisions.
Credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above may be considered.
Ideal Candidate
Preference will be given to applicants with the following:
- Additional technical experience in a laboratory involving operation and maintenance of Electronics, Mechatronics, and Robotics equipment.
- Supervisory experience of laboratory personnel.
- Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules based on equipment history and manufacturer-recommended intervals to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure reliable operation of electronic systems, control systems, and electrical machinery by completing preventive maintenance, following technical diagrams, operations manuals, and engineering specifications in line with established PM schedules.
- Identify sources of malfunctions by observing equipment operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Set up and operate various equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, motors, PLCs, machine vision, and industrial robots, to diagnose, repair, and fabricate parts as needed.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
