Join the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA as a School Age Child Care (SACC) Teacher and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in our community. As a SACC Teacher, you will provide supervision and engaging activities for children in a nurturing, supportive environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and implement age-appropriate activities that promote growth and learning.

Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Adhere to YMCA policies and state licensing regulations, including child safety protocols.

Actively participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.

Must be 18 years or older.

High school diploma or 540 documented hours of experience working with children.

Current or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months.

Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint screening as required by state regulations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in ongoing training.
