Experienced Defined Benefit Pension Analyst
Central Data Services, Inc. is the largest locally-owned and operated employee benefit services firm in the greater Pittsburgh area. We are seeking candidates interested in working in a fast-paced environment in a growing organization. The company specializes in benefit administration and client customer service. We are seeking to fill an Experienced Defined Benefit Pension Analyst position in our South Side Pittsburgh office.
This person is responsible for taking participant phone calls, managing applications, administrative functions, and accurately processing monthly distributions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Must be proficient in administering defined benefit pensions.
- Must have a high level of customer focus in a forward facing role, taking numerous calls on various issues daily.
- Will be processing first level benefit estimates and must be comfortable explaining both the benefit process and calculation methods to participants.
- Must excel in a team environment, and have the desire to learn and grow.
- Must be able to follow and develop processes, and keep highly organized files.
- Able to read, analyze, and understand Plan Documents and Summary Plan Descriptions
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least 2 years defined benefit pension administration experience (NO EXCEPTIONS).
- Must be currently proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows.
- College degree preferred.
- Must exceed at time management and have the ability to multitask, actively addressing client and team requests throughout the day.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Working hours are M-F, between 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm with an hour unpaid lunch.
